Before knowing what are the benefits of this newly introduced PUBG PC Lite let’s have a quick look on a few prerequisites. PUBG is an acronym for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, which is an online multiplayer game developed by PUBG Corporation with Brendan Greene taking the credits for creating it. The PUBG game application is supported on iOS, Android, Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and PS4.
Advantages of PUBG LITE:
Although the developers created have the game for all the major platforms, a study was done which shows 85% of the total population who play PUBG, mostly use the Android version. The major reason why PUBG Mobile application made an exponential growth among the youths, and thus holds the record of ‘The most simultaneously played game of all time’.
Isn’t it alluring when your screen shows ‘Winner Winner Chicken Dinner’ instead of ‘You Won’? Indeed, it is the reason why every PUBG player craves for it. Another alluring, as well as an interesting feature that the game has, is bots in place, which is AI-generated(players can relate to). Also, the addition of real-world-like locations shoots up the level of interest a player has. Well, don’t you think the addition of such enticing features requires having good graphics as well? Yes and games with really good graphics are generally of big file size and thus require a lot of system resources.
Requirements:
The initial PUBG PC application had very high system requirements. The following are the required system specifications for PUBG PC-
PUBG PC System Requirements (Minimum):
- OS with the 64-bit version of Windows 7, 8.1, or 10.
- Intel Core i5-4430 processor CPU with a speed of 2.8Ghz / AMD Radeon R7.
- RAM 8GB and Storage 30 GB Available Space.
- DirectX 11.
- NVIDIA Geforce GTX 960 GPU / AMD Radeon R7.
Additionally, an internet connection and connection. This later became a major drawback in order to reach out to the masses. In order to overcome this, developers worked together and thus introduced the new PUBG PC Lite application. The PUBG PC Lite isn’t anything alien, rather is much similar development as Facebook did, by releasing apps like Facebook Lite or Messenger Lite which demand a lot less resources, to cater to users having low-end devices.
Hoarding over to the difference. The original PUBG version had inbuilt specifications which let the player picks up the weapon automatically once he/she stands over it. However, the Lite version doesn’t let that. In order to pick up the weapon, you need to press the TAB Button once you go near it. Well, before proceeding to the differences that both the application made to the game experience, let me brief you on the system requirements that PUBG PC Lite has. The PUBG PC Lite requires a very commonly used user interface. It can even work on pc having just the integrated graphics(that helps ???? ).
PUBG PC Lite System Requirements (Minimum):
- OS: 32-bit version of Windows 7, 8, or 10.
- CPU: Intel Core i3 2.4Ghz.
- RAM: 4GB.
- Hard Disk Space: 4GB.
- The GPU requirement – Intel HD Graphics 4000.
PUBG PC Lite Recommended Requirements:
- CPU: Intel Core i5 processor CPU with a speed of 2.8GHz.
- RAM: 8 GB.
- OS: Windows 7/8.1/10, 64-bit.
- Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 / AMD Radeon HD 7870.
- Hard Disk Space: 4 GB.
The lite application will even do great with such low specs. Although, the color scheme isn’t that vibrant but is playable in low-end laptops for having smooth graphics.
The weapon recoil is much similar to the original version which makes the game equally challenging. The firing icon is somewhere placed in the map, much similar to that of PUBG Mobile. In recently made updates, weapon attachments like 3x and 6x scope which were t present in the earlier version has been added.
Well, in my opinion, having lesser isn’t a bigger issue to deal with as it’s expected that with time the Lite application will update itself adding almost similar specs that of the original application have. When it comes to gaming, I would suggest instead of looking for a version with better specs you should always go for the one which is compatible with the system that you use.
