The flood situation in Kerala has reached alarming proportions, the continuous raining from 8 August made the situation very horrible. Now Kerala is facing the worst flood in the last 100 years.80 Dams were opened, the death toll from the 9 August reaches 196,22 death were reported on the Saturday as per Times of India news. Over more than 200 Lakh people were shifted to the relief camp.
Tons of food, medicines, drinking water where delivered by the govt, NGOs and other Companies from all over India. All this happens only by the huge number of donations done from all over the country by different sources. Here are some of the ways you can donate to CM relief fund for Kerala Flood Relief :
1.Kerala Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF)
- The payment process is easy, secure and simple
- Go to the website of CMDRF (https://donation.cmdrf.kerala.gov.in) website, click on the donate menu and fill the Online Donation Form.
- They ask you basic information like email Id, name and phone number.
- Then it will be redirected to a payment gateway where you can pay through net banking, debit cards, and credit cards.
- Once the transaction is successful, you will get a payment success notification on your email address. This includes a certificate from the principal secretary (finance) as well as a 100 percent tax exemption certificate.

Paytm is also providing a donation for the Kerala Flood Relief on their website (https://paytm.com/helpinghand) and Mobile Application also. You can make a donation to Kerala CM’s Distress Relief Fund or Karnataka CM’s Calamity Relief Fund (Kodagu). Fill Your name and amount and click on Proceed You amount will be transferred directly to the Relief Fund.
3.Government Of Kerala
Go the website to Kerala Govt. (https://kerala.gov.in/) you can see the banner click on Donate fill the details and proceed.
4.Amazon
Amazon India is working with partners and state/national disaster coordination committees to offer support to all those affected by the floods. The e-commerce platform is asking consumers to donate products to NGOs that will be sent to the affected in Kerala. On the page dedicated to this effort, three NGOs are listed and each organization has a wishlist of products that are ranked in order of highest priority. Products range from toothpaste to towels to utensils and food products, among others.
You can add the products to your cart and select the gift registry address of the NGO in address page. Once the payment is complete, Amazon will deliver the product(s) to the address in Kerala from where the NGOs will offer them to flood victims. Truecaller is also allowing users to send in a donation with a quick UPI or net banking transfer to the CM Relief Fund
6. Flipkart
Flipkart is also helping to raise a fund with the help of one NGO Goonj.

- All donations are eligible for 50% tax exemption under section 80G
