After the demonetization of Rs.1000 and Rs.500 old notes, The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) lately announced that very soon it will release the new Rs.50 notes in the market.
These new notes in the series of Mahatma Gandhi (new) Notes will be signed by the current RBI Governor Mr. Urjit Patel and will have the dimensions of 66mm x 135mm, slightly smaller and thinner than the existing notes of Rs.50. The base color of the note will be fluorescent blue, which looks quite exciting for the people having any sort of interest in the designs and colors of notes.
The back of the note will hold the decorative figure, in the light olive green color, of a ‘Hampi with a chariot’ and on the slightly left-bottom space there is also a logo of ‘Swachcha Bharat Abhiyaan’ promoting the mission of ‘Clean and Green India’. Thus, the height off the note will be equal to the earlier released notes of Rs.500 and Rs.2000 but we will observe the decrease in the width.
RBI has also confirmed that the earlier issued notes of Rs.50 will be in the circulation as earlier and this move should not be considered as the demonetization of old Rs.50 notes. Now, we already have Rs.500 and Rs.2000 new notes circulated in the market having a past of chaotic distribution clipped with them. So every new notes news sounds all interesting and of prominence these days. And that is all for the information’s sake, let’s just do our part for making the nation great. #KeepWorking
